If one cannot enjoy a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all." -Oscar Wilde

In the Classroom

I was in a sixth grade in watching presentations over A Wrinkle in Time that I had read with them on and off as I was in their classroom. When I mentioned it was a series, the teacher and some students got excited and wrote down the names of the succeeding books to read over the summer. Seeing their enthusiasm for reading and a favorite series of mine was really a great way to end the year. It isn't impossible to get kids into reading nowadays. Perhaps only just a little bit harder. :)
