Here's an interesting read I stumbled upon in regards to plagiarism. But, hey, at least some editor out there found the discrepancies. Too bad it was word for word quoted from Wikipedia of all pages.My question is, however, how many times has this slipped through the cracks? I mean we're all taught never to plagiarize, and colleges and universities take it very seriously, but does it ever really stop it? I think if I was working on this book or at Hatchette, I'd probably drop the book, but who knows what sorts of legal ramifications that might have.
