There's really no surprise at the books that topped Publisher's Weekly's bestselling Children's Books. Without even looking, I'd happen to guess that Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games trilogy would fall somewhere on that list, and probably Rick Riordan. These seem to be the popular books of the now for young adults (and even adult readers like me).
Other books that topped the list Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, Rachel Renee Russell's Dork Series books, and a few classics down the list by the likes of Dr. Suess, James Patterson, and some others.
Any of you read some of these books? Own them? How would you rate them?
